How It Works
Molarity is the most common way to express the concentration of a solution in chemistry. It is defined as the number of moles of solute per liter of solution.
The dilution equation C₁V₁ = C₂V₂ is used to calculate how much stock solution (or solvent) is needed to prepare a diluted solution of a desired concentration.
