How SWP Works
A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows you to withdraw a fixed amount from your mutual fund investment at regular intervals. Each month, units are redeemed while your remaining corpus continues to earn returns.
"Set your withdrawal rate lower than your expected returns to make your corpus last longer."
The Formula
Where: Cn = Corpus at month n, i = Monthly Rate (0.667%), W = Monthly Withdrawal (₹ 30,000).
