How It Works
WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First) is calculated by dividing the Cost of Delay (CoD) by the Job Size. Items with the highest score deliver the most value in the shortest amount of time, giving you the best return on investment.
- User/Business Value: Relative value to the customer or business.
- Time Criticality: How the user/business value decays over time.
- Risk Reduction: What else does this do for our business?
- Job Size: Estimated relative effort (e.g. story points).
