How It Works
Decision Matrix Method
A Decision Matrix (also known as a weighted scoring matrix) helps you make objective decisions by breaking a complex choice into measurable components.
Weighted Score = Score × Weight
Total Score = Σ (all Weighted Scores)
Normalized Weight = (W / Σ W) × 100%
Steps to use:
- Add the options you are choosing between.
- Add criteria that matter for your decision and set their importance weights (1–10).
- Score each option on each criterion (1–10).
- The matrix automatically ranks options by total weighted score.
