Room Area = L × W
Tile Area = Tile L × Tile W
Exact Tiles = Room Area / Tile Area
Total Order = Exact Tiles × (1 + Waste%)
Pro Tips
- Always buy 10-15% extra for cuts, breaks, and future repairs.
- For diagonal layouts (diamond pattern), calculate with 20% wastage.
- Grout spacing is not subtracted from tile count to ensure you have enough material.
